My wonderful beautiful Mitsubishi Diamond Pro 930 is not long for this world :(

its beginning to show the same signs my previous one did before it died
last time mitsubishi swapped it for another one but when i rang they said its out of warranty and even then they don't have any more refurb models

ill try and get some pictures up as its hard to explain whats wrong with it
i get these intermittent black warping like bars at the top and bottom of the screen

what companies do CRT repairs i hope its not too expensive or too far gone to be fixed

:(

CRT = fail!:D

I can't use them, they give me headaches after a short while. Give yourself an excuse to grab a big LCD.

Gutted for you mate, My 930SB had the same fault but when I rang Mitsu I was 3 months within my warranty so they picked it up repaired it & sent it back for nowt.
They knew the problem as soon as I described it & you describe it the same, Is there not an option to send it back to Mitsu/Nec & pay them to fix it. If you can't do that will they at least describe technically what is wrong with yours & let you know what component needs replacing. Like I said the women knew immedietly the fault & said to me it was a common fault so I am sure you can get some helpful info off them at the very least.

Unless you can do it yourself or know someone super cheap its going to be uneconomical to repair.

I was lucky with my Iiyama Vision Master Pro 450 A901HT which I believe uses the same tube. It was a different fault (PSU), but I managed to google up a repair for £1.60 in parts.
