my crysis dont run now????

got crysis when it came out and played fine on my pc.just thought i would give it another blast but cant get the thing to start at all.dx9 and dx10.tried 3 different drivers.Its all fully updated and everything.When i try to run it i just get a black screen and a box pops up saying -crysis has stopped working- does not even get to the game intro.Any ideas whats causing this.Using vista 32 sp1.cheers

I also get a problem with Crysis, when I first had the game the graphics were corrupt so I updated the drivers and it was fine for about 2 days.
Then when I went to play it the graphics were corrupt again, I re-installed the drivers and again it worked for a day or two before the same thing happened again and again and again.

I don't even bother anymore I'll live without it and I did complete it twice anyway.

Do you have your graphics card overclocked?

If I clock my card too far, it does exactly the same thing. Try lowering your clocks :)
 
Well I had a problem with the latest patch.

I reinstalled the game without the patch and it works fine now.

Worth a try.
 
card running default.is there anyway to get rid of the patches without uninstalling all the game.Sod it,going to uninstall the lot and reinstall and put a patch on at a time to see what it is.

well just uninstalled the lot and just put back the game only and guess what.it dont run,same thing happening.But now i really want to play it again.So my thinking is the drivers or something.What drivers are u using for crysis using a gtx.Have tried 174.74 and 169.25
