Saw this thread and figured it might justify putting my runaround up lol

Love the seats, comfiest things for long journeys Ive ever sat in.

If it was a 4x4 Si this picture would seem more relevant

Been attempting to restore some youthful looks to it but havent really managed much as ive been trying to service/replace engine related parts, as you can see its had a few good polishing sessions but could do with freshly sprayed bumpers, a couple of dents taken out and the wheels refurbed.

Mods ive done are a MSD performance coilpack (dont ask lol), some valeo aero wipers, a pioneer headunit and replaced all 4 door speakers with apline items.

I bet youre all wanting 20 seconds of your life back now lol

Yes mate, still have the 1.7 fiesta - its being rebuilt to frp spec atm.

Looks in pretty good nick indeed, Those door linings are better than my car, it had some crappy grey felt stuff in mine that was loosely stuck on. Although was infinitely better than the plastic sheeting on my friends civic type-r. Are those 6x8 speakers in the back, did they cost much to replace?

Tidiest mk1 i've seen in a long time, 99% are total sheds nowadays.

No I went on peoples recommendations on ford mondeo owners club and got 5x7's which are "straight fit"... turns out the screw holes dont line up and the speaker is too small for the space leaving gaps around the edge which is no good for the sound hense having to cut wooden brackets and drill my doors. :mad:

6x8's are what I should have got, and I believe it'll be the same in your Mk3 - as for cost I got them from car audio direct for £30 per pair.

Thanks for the tidy comments, its the reason I want to keep it and make it as immaculate as I can because all the ones ive seen as you say are knackered/damaged or horribly modified.
