My D50 came this morning...

My D50 came this morning and I'm very impressed with it so far, mostly from the detail you can get close up, not even with a macro lens.

Here's some shots from my garden with the kit lens,

1 This has had some adjustments made to it, but the rest are straight from the camera

Any advice/tips for the camera/shots will be greatly recieved!

looks like you two are getting along just fine. 1st shot especially interesting and water shot well taken.

my tip: shoot more and post your results.

I like the shot of the bee (I found trying to shoot them is hard as they only stay still for a couple of seconds at a time)

Yeah, the stock colours were a bit bland, but it's my current wallpaper now!
Quite a few of the water shots are a little noisey because of the fast shutter, I'l work on it!

Yeah, that one stayed still long enough for me, maybe try continuous shoot mode?

It's not the getting the shot so much as the focus, by the time I've got it in focus it's moved (using manual focus)
