Hi there,

I starting working on the plans for my desk PC. I was thinking of building the desk from palettes and I already measured all the parts. The drawing has a 1 to 10 scale, 1 cm = 10 cm.

Left hand-side section will be covered with tempered glass, the monitor will be on a swivel arm and cables will come from the back. Fans will be mounted on the sides. 0TV2ar6.jpg

Any ideas for improvement?

Does anyone have experience with drilling holes for fans? I am not sure how to position the fans given I also want to place dust filters in front of them? The fans would be a 140x140mm, but they come in a square shape so not sure if I place them in the hole (which would have to be a triangle) or place them on the inside of the box with the hole in front of them. Ideally I'd like them flushed to the box so they should fill the hole, but I find that a bit problematic when it comes to mounting them.
