My dog the green eyed monster, how to fix?

Tried Lighroom's pet eye fix, but make my poor pooch look dead eyed and evil, its seems to just put black blobs over the green.

Any tips to combat my dogs retina reflection

Turn off the flash, or don't point it direct at him/it/her.

Try using the adjustment brush instead as you have more control with the parameters, might work.

Not a pet story but a few years ago my son (then ~5 years old) had to go into Bristol Children's Hospital for an operation on his ear. Children's Hospital were brilliant and part of it was inviting us a week or so before the operation to come in so our son could see where he was going etc. Part of the visit was they had a file showing a picture story of a child coming for an operation etc .. only problem was (this was probably in days before digital cameras and photoshop etc) most of the pictures suffered from red-eye. When we talked to our son the day before we took him in for the operation to see if he was ok about it or had any concerns he seemed quite happy ... except he said "I hope I don't meet the boy with the scary red eyes".
