Hi all,

I have put together a few PC's but i'm looking for a decent case that's here to stay!

Requirements; [Feel free to correct, comment :-)

- Cheap
- Black [Mainly]

Below i have a few pictures i grabbed of google that i'd like in a case;

First off i'd love a fan that covered the whole of the side panel! Preferably neon [blue] (i don't like the look of this but i just grabbed the pic]

2: Simple front design - All it needs is a power button, usb, speaker and mic like below is perfect;

3rd; 120mm intakes?

Other things;

PSU placement; Top or bottom?
CD/HDD Racks.

All i need is one cd space and 2 harddrive spaces.
But what i am looking at is a fan controller for the big side fan because it wont need to be on full a lot yet with my current specs. - Were would it go (2nd cd bay? or floppy bay?)

Not sure of anything else? I know it's not a wow! case but i like things simple and think it'll look good for me feel free to say what ever pops into your head.

:D Thanks all!

The best budget case, when i got it anyway, was what is shown above, the Antec 300 and at £30 it was a bargain, and when i have time i will practice modding and use it for something. Definatly a very easy case to put together when doing a build. Which is why i would recommend to pretty much anyone - especially a casual user.

But at a hefty price of £50 now, think it gets competition from lian li.

For the antec 300:
PSU: bottom,
HDD: 6 hdds,
Bays: 3 5.25" bays

Big side fan? you can get a 120mm to go there, which the intakes are both 120mm (all those are optional though) and it comes with a 120mm antec fan for exhaust and 140m for top exhaust.

From what i have seen, to get the most for your money, spray the internals black and do a window, if that is what you want.

I've been looking round for a second hand 300 but no luck as of yet,

If i get one i will have 2x 120intakes and a 360 side exhaust :D!

Yeah, the massive side panel fans are just a fad. The blades have to be very flat and that means they barely shift any air at all.
