My drive won't load......

My discs! I have just loaded up my computer and put a cd in and nothing has happened, it won't even come up with a mesage, ive tried loads of discs but the same result keeps on happening. All i do is open the drive, insert the disc, close the disc drive and wait for about 5 minutes and nothing comes up, i check my computer and still nothing. I don't understand this problem, any suggestions? I have tried restarting.

are you in windows or trying to install windows?

can you see the drive in device manager?

have you recently installed limewire (can break cd drives on rare occations) if so, then check here http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=17633373

I am not currently trying to install windows or anything, i have had limewire pro on my cpu for ages but hasen't been loaded in a while. I can see my device in the device manager.

Whilst we appreciate the sentiment of wanting to thaknk people, please don't use the trust for that

(the trust system is meant to be for MM and use outside of it can confuse people).
