Ok its not all bad........

i ordered an overclocked bundle on the 13th march, price of bundle £441.38, now because of my shift patterns at work i selected delivery for friday 18th, on tuesday 15th dpd attempted to deliver my said parcel, needless to say i was annoyed that my instructions had been ignored. 1 phone call later to overclockers and my delivery was rescheduled for friday 18th.
friday arrives as does my parcel at 3:30pm, i eagerly put it all together loving caressing each part as i went :) routed all my cables and was done by 6pm, all i need to do now was put some life into my new baby by attaching the power supply and pressing the big black button. Imagine my surprise when i was greeted with nothing, just a plain black screen. i could hear my drives starting, however i had no bios screen or anything else, ok maybe i have done something wrong time to recheck connections etc.....at 1am on the 19th i was ready to murder someone i had stripped my system right down to nothing and rebuilt it 2 more times, i had my friend looking on forums for possible solutions all to no avail i was stuck with a black screen **** it i thought, out came the ps3 on went COD black ops and i enjoyed killing anyone that moved, at 2am i was browsing the manual of the motherboard and was looking at the part that describes led's and system errors, all my led's were working correctly, then i spotted a part about a button called MEMOK and it said

" if your system fails to boot due to bios overclocking then press the memok button to boot and load bios defaults blah blah blah"

nothing to loose i thought so i crawled over to my pc and once again turned on the life support system and gingerly pressed the MEMOk button....BINGO my baby came to life. Tears of joy welled up in my eyes i poured myself a whiskey and gazed lovingly at my monitor, i was now a happy a bunny but too knackered to do anything i needed some sleep.

the moral of this post is to overclockers :- please be aware of customers delivery dates, please be advised that my parts must have worked for you at your end but by the time they got to me they did not work as they should have, it was by shear luck i managed to solve the problem myself.

other than that i will continue to use overclockers for future orders.

Not if he loaded BIOS default, but if he messages OCUK they may be able to help him overclock it (or they (Rich) offered me a similar offer when i had to reset my BIOS - not OCuK's fault).

My thinking exactly. Definitely worth giving them a buzz about it :).

surely they should include a little piece of paper with the overclocked settings they used? saves you faffing around yourself if all you have to do is up 1 setting another notch :)

If it's lost it's clock, post in the CS section (down near the bottom of the main forum page), and the store guys should be able to give the settings/tell you how to restore it :)

[edit]
If that's the CM 690, I hope I can get the one i'm setting up for my brother looking that tidy :) (he's got 5 drives though).

Overclocking it won't be hard from what i've seen of friends PCs, The overclockers overclock is normally set on auto for voltages and they just change the baseclock, I've seen 3 like this because they asked me actually set their overclocks up shaving over upto 10C off i guess thease OC bundles are so popular they don't have time to setup the volts anymore :(.

looking good:) what are your specs?

Talking of deliveries, i ordered a mobo and case from another site because OCUK did not sell the mobo, so thought i might as well get them both from the same place.
chose free 5 day delivery, and my motherboard turned up on Friday, but they are not delivering the case until monday:mad::mad:
i hate it when companies do that. i'd rather get them both on the same day, even if i have to wait.
i've always been impressed with ocuk's delivery:)

My computer is doing exactly the same thing guys. My board is an abit ip35. Does anyone know if these boards have a reset button or if its back to the old jumper thing?

Ahhh the bios has become corrupted. Each time i reset the pc i need to reset the bios. Time to flash and pray.
