my fans run but the RGB lights dont work? any advice please?

i put these fans in my pc Lian-Li ST120 Addressable RGB 120mm Black Fan with Controller - Triple Pack, but the lights on them dont work at all and as noob as it sounds its the first time messing with a fan controller which came with them, i have all my fans on it and they work just the lights dont and im not sure if ive missed something which i guess i have

Did you plug the controller in to everything it needs to be plugged into?

Looks like the controller has buttons on it... did you press any?

Edit: Note I don't own these and this is from looking at the online manual: 6 way fan controller only does fans, doesn't do rgb

Page 2 shows the fans have 2 connections, one pwm, the other rgb.

RGB is done one of 2 ways:

• RGB box needs sata power connecting on one end and what looks like a 4 way daisy chain (proprietary connector) which will connect to the rgb cables on the fans... lights controlled by buttons on box - page 3 of manual
• Alternatively you would connect the other 3 way daisy chain cable to the correct rgb header which looks to have an optional expander cable - page 7&8

RGB using the rgb header will need some sort of software to control the rgb, motherboard side of things iirc (I don't use rgb in my build)
