My FEAR won't run anymore?

A required security module can not be activated. This program can not be activiated.

What the hell? I have the Directors edition and bought it on release, haven't played it for months, decided to try it again because of the influx of new multiplayer players, and it won't launch?

Anyone know what I can do? :confused:

I think it has something to do with secure rom and virtual drives?

I have tried the following and turned all my virtual drives off:

when i tried to play Something was Denied in my Registry.(to get to your registry Click the start button, then Run, then Type in regedit

at this folder HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/System/MountedDevices/

Right
Click the Mounted Devices folder, Click Permissions, Click Advanced,
Look under the "TYPE" header for any labels that say "Deny", if there
are any highlight and click Edit, Check Full Control and "OK". and
Viola!

...But I still get the error trying to use the real retail disc?

Read the VU games help stuff online and I've disabled everything it tells me to, and yet I still have the problem.

F.E.A.R. Patch v1.00/v1.06 to v1.07 [Global]

It says it's for the US only, and tells me to get the right update, but there aren't any others listed on Fileplanet?
