Not pictured

FK Silverline coilovers
280mm Fiesta ST front brakes (as to fit under 15's)
280mm Focus RS rear brakes
powder coated Zetec-S Ream beam (stronger)
blueflame catback exhaust

thats all I can think of at the moment.

awesome :D always had something for the MK4. what sort of power mark you looking at by the end of it? 160 region? will be so fun.

thanks, its basically gonna be my track whore to be abused as ive lost interest in getting money back for the car - when its dead its getting broken for the parts.

well frp spec is 155bhp and ill have a ported/polished head.. it will need a custom remap so its anyones guess really. Wonder how much weight ill save with the interior taken out and spare wheel removed, should have thought to weight it all really lol.

Not sure about about the fiesta but the spare wheel + interior on my 205 weighed about 40-50kg.

Looking good, not a big fan of the fiestas if I'm honest but looks like you're doing a good job of it :)

R888s are NICE....

What do the mk4 fiesta handle like?

decent unmodified for a cheap car excellent modified in my opinion - my old one had the same coilovers, a lower strut brace and eagle f1 tyres was like a go kart!

280mm Focus RS rear brakes - No need for these

Other than that, pretty cool :) Should be pretty nippy - around 106 gti/saxo vts sort of performance

would eat a gti/vts, espec straight lines.

pretty damn good in the twisties too.

Ive driven one with a rear disc conversion and the braking is much more stable and balanced, people keep saying they shouldnt be the same size as the front but with them being solid discs and the calipers are quite small they arnt nearly as strong as the fiesta st fronts.

Im not going to give any performance estimates as ive still not decided which gearbox to go with yet (1.25 short ratio/1.7 longer ratio) or whether im gonna spend money putting a quaife diff in to put the power down better on launches/in corners.

No harm in trying then I suppose :) Will be interested, good braking ability cause you have lost weight too

I was running it with just the puma engine and nothing else uprated including brakes, standard pea shooter exhaust 14" wheels.. basically exactly as it is in the first pic. Now the first thing I had a traffic light GP with was a Mk5 Fiesta Zetec-S.. you know the type.. polished to high heaven zsoc stickers and a big exhaust. oh how the victory was sweet, the driver must have thought something was wrong with his car for it to get whipped by a 1.25 LX lmao.

:D

i do love the ZS in standard form, such a shame they never fitted a more poweful lump.

you must have killed the standard 240 setup with the FRP lump? haha.

I very nearly had an accident due to massive brake fade which is when i put the 15s and st brakes on. Never going to overlook braking again when doing power upgrades to a car.
