my final check

Both motherboards would do just fine. Take your pick.

I don't think pre-OC'd cards are worth the extra when you can simply overclock it yourself for free.

The PSU'd work but IIRC they're sometimes noisy. Perhaps you could stretch for the ubiquitous Corsair HX 520?

What does the overall price come to?

Also, I'm not sure how good Akasa PSU's are, but I'd get a Corsair HX520w tbh.

Superclocked 8800GT's aren't worth it IMO. Just OC them yourself if you want the superclocked feeling ;P

No heatsink for that 2180? It'd be a nice overclocker if you got the Tuniq Tower or something. I've heard good things about the P5K being nice for overclocking, and I'm somewhat being turned off the DS3P because of the things I've been hearing, but I'm pretty sure everything would go well if you got the DS3P.

Case is really nice. PC7-PLUS is a great make from Lian-Li. RAM is nice, but I'd go for 2gb myself to save money.

EDIT: Beat by Billy... Again... :<

okay cool, i have a genimII which will cool the cpu (hopefully, thats what the two fans are for). and i just want the best motherboard at the cheapest price.

okay then great guys i will put my order in this evening, i am hungover at the moment so i dont trust myself so i better wait for it to wear off.

what kind of difference in games will i see using 4 gigs? i will be using a 64bit os.
