My first 6600 overclock

Just overclocked my 6600 conroe to 3.2ghz stock volts 350 fsb x 9, mem at 4,4,4,12 2.1v 350mhz, temps 60c full load with a ninja is this ok?
orthos stable for 4.5 hours, is that enought time? What should i try for next?

3.15 is about the max you will get stable on stock volts and even then I'd be suprised if you get it 100% stable above ~3.09 on stock... but then not all CPUs are the same quality...

If you can pass atleast 300% memtest or 3 passes memtest86+, run through 3D marks 06 without issues and a 32Mb superPi as well as 4.5hours priming you should be stable enough...

60c sounds a bit high considering im getting a little less than that on a +volted e6300 at 3.22 with an arctic freezer (ninja is better apparently)

yeah, thats a bit too warm.

ps. my freezer 7 with extra fan cools nicely. (stock fan is very quiet but i needed more air)

I idle at 48c with the ninja :eek:

reseated it many times and i get the same temps, must be a problem with ihs not being flat or summat?
