So I have decided to take build my own gaming PC. I want a very decent system for the best possible price. Take a look at my build spec and let me know what they think, or possibly advise if I can get a similar performance for less or even change any bits? Thanks.

Pretty decent you could save money on a case a 60 pound case will be up to the job and you need a cpu cooler here is the one i would get. Also since this is a gaming pc a seagate 2tb would be better same price mish lol double the storage.

cheers for the comment mate. Would I need a CPU cooler though? As it stands for now I do not plan to overclock even though I have spec'd an CPU that can be overclocked. Wouldn't the stock cpu cooler that comes with the i7 4790k suffice if I don't plan to overclock?

well you have a highspec system i really think it would be worth it in the long run to have a quiet and cool cpu cooler. I don't know how you can justify such a nice case with a silly stock cooler thats what i think.

If you don't plan to SLI you can drop the psu down to 550W.

The Phanteks Enthoo Pro is a better case imo for £10 less.

You could also save on the gpu. I haven't seen any reviews for the new Gigabyte card, so I don't know if it warrants the extra cost.
