My first attempt at taking photos in Paris

I recently got to go to France and took along my Canon Powershot S2 IS.

These are some of the pictures I took and was just wondering what people thought of them and if there was any advice they could give me?

Thanks for the feedback so far. As I said it's the first proper time I have used the camera and still getting used to it.

I agree with Jimbo about the 4th one not being so great but I do like the perspective under the arch where you can see the garden and then the end palace which is why I included it.

The first one was a nightmare to take as it was taken on the same boat you see on picture 5 and the boat would not stay still.
