I did my CBT last Sunday and bought this Yamaha YBR today for commuting into uni. I was mainly looking at CG's and YBR's went and saw this one at a dealer today and it was immaculate and a cracking price compared to condition/mileage/age of others I had looked at so far.

2009, 1 owner from new, kept garaged, 1400 miles. As its from a dealer they're putting a new 12 month MOT/Tax on it and giving it a service. Should be collecting Friday :)

She turns 3 in January though so they're putting a full MOT on now so I don't have to do it in 2 months time :)

You know, I sat there and went through it twice and was sure that it couldn't have been more than 2 years old. I think I forgot to count 2010 or something. Stupid brain...

Make sure you've a jacket that blocks out the wind pretty well as there isn't much protection from the elements!

Looks sound though, enjoy it.

They're going to throw in some L plates for when I collect her, heh. Been ordering some clothing/accessories as well. Got a bargain jacket of the bay with shoulder/elbow/back protection which should be OK for temporary and give me a chance to spec something better.

Also ordered a helmet from lidsdirect paid for next day del on Monday, they called me yesterday to say they didn't have it in stock and offered me one they sell for twice as much + extra smoked visor and refunded me delivery charges. Really impressed.

I just need some good boots now. Theres a Hein Gericke locally so will probably pop in there later and try some on.

The lid should really be a little tight now as it will wear in. If it is really comfortable now it could well loosen off in a few weeks.
Welcome to two wheels!

Any tyres are skinny compared to that steamroller effort on the back wheel of your monster!
