My First Build-HELP NEEDED PLS :)

I would disregard the psu suggested by rey even if the case/cpu bundle is good, as already mentioned its not the best of psus the antec is much better. the antec one would be just about enough for sli of 560ti/6950 but you miight want a bit of extra 'headroom' with a 700/750w psu.

either way with the new graphics cards so close its pointless bickering over 560/560ti/6950, if you're not in a hurry to buy/build now it maybe worth holding on for a few week to see what the new cards are like/price and if/how they effect the prices of the current cards.

unless I'm mistaken the cmdouble voucher code seems to only be for the 500 and 600w of the silent pro psu.

anyway going away from what I've said here's my spec

psu and motherboard are bot sli/xfire capable, gone for a all black/grey colour.

add a third party cpu cooler in the future to allow you to overclock the cpu, the intel stock cooler does allow some overclocking but the temps/noise are high.

upgrade the graphics card in the future to one of the new ati/amd 7xxx series or nvidia 6xx series.

Does BF3 need 2GB or does it just need more than 1GB?

For slightly more (£12) there's the GTX 560 TI '448' edition with 1280MB VRAM on offer that seems to perform very close to the GTX 570 in some of the reviews I've seen. I wonder if it might be worth the stretch.

I'm no expert, ask in the graphics card section.

I read £650 to £700, let me clarify my recommendation.

If the OP plans to purchase Battlefield 3 (£27) and possibly Deus Ex (£20) they are included in my rig with a superb gfx card.

Alternatively they could ebay the games for £45 if the OP already owns them.

My view is that it is £750 better spent.

Definitely don't go with a 1GB card, 1.5GB minimum, but 2GB would be much nicer/better for maxing out settings. No point spending all that money and then putting a card in it that is going to hurt performance in games, Considering it's a gaming rig.

Post #21 is a good spec.
