My first build - Help please?

Hi,

I've just built my new system and am ready to "Fire it up" I think. Can some of you more experienced guys give me a run through of how to proceed.

Coolermaster HAF 932 Case - Black (No PSU)
EVGA Intel X58 (Socket 1366) PCI-Express DDR3 Motherboard
Intel Core i7 920 2.66Ghz (Nehalem) (Socket LGA1366) - Retail
Noctua NH-U12P SE1366 CPU Cooler
OCZ Vertex Series 120GB 2.5" SATA-II Solid State Hard Drive
Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2 2048MB GDDR5
Corsair HX 1000W ATX Modular SLI Compliant Power Supply
Scythe Kaze-Master 5.25" Fan Controller
Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate SP1 - Retail

I am unsure as to how to proceed.

Do I fire it up and run in DOS if so, I am a bit stuck as I have not done much in DOS before.

I intend overclocking this set up to around 3.8GHz.

I also have twin 750Gb drives to fit eventually in raid as my gaming / everyday use drives.

The SSD is to be for the OS and main programs only. I can then run an image to the gaming drive as a back up.

Anyway any help you guys can give would be much appreciated.

My intention was to have vista on the SSD for performance.

Thanks for the quick reply though.

I'll give it a go tomorrow. I'm done for the night and want to be at least a bit alert when I go for it. Too much invested to end up frying it.
