My First Build. Mistakes, suggestions?

How about this? http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=BG-026-BQ. It's BeQuiet, the brand everyone seems to reccomend :P, it has an 87% efficiency and it is 530W. Could this be enough? Perhaps even enough for a bit extra?

Yes, Would be my minimum requirements. You'll be pulling 400W when really stressed (I pull that with a 1055T and a 560ti Twon Frozr II with furmark and Prime95 at the same time). And that's at the plug. So that will do that job. It has 35A on 12 V iirc.

Sorry, there is a reason I am called PC Noob Theo XD. You have lost me a bit there. Are you saying that it will be good enough or only just good enough?

It's B grade :) I wouldn't bother with it and get a retail PSU (£44).

Make it 430W for my power consumption, got my numbers wrong. That is Furmark and Prime95, which is not your typical load even when gaming.

Anandtech has under 300W typical load on crysis for a 6950 + i7 (which is less energy efficient than a 2500K). I would tab on 350W though, so yes, it is good enough and has a bit of headroom.

I recommended a £40 600w lepa psu, not the 500w.

If you mean the Lepa W-600 then I agree. But not the Lepa N-600 imo. 18A+, one PCIE connector, Doesn't look like it's designed with power hungry graphics cards in mind.

And between the Lepa and the Antec HCG 620W, I would still take the Antec for a few quids more (Seasonic design, great efficiency and internal temps, it's Antec, blablabla...).
