My First DSLR

I've always liked taking photos.. blah blah blah .. decided to get an entry DSLR so I went for the Nikon D3100.

Just getting to grips with it really, heres a first few snaps. Would appreciate any criticism.

I'm still figuring out what DSLR to get, only on a small budget. Nikon's cameras seem to have better bang for the buck, but I will be doing some astrophotography and Canon are a lot better for that stuff... Decisions decisions...

I was looking at the Nikon vs. a Canon 1100D, and for the price the Nikon definitely had more.

I like all the pics, Only criticism would be I'd have preferred the water to be in focus in the first one.
