Temps: Idle 40 - 44, and Load doesn't got above 58 using Orthos. This ok?

Can anyone please tell me why, Core Temp and Windows doesn't display my CPU speed right? Displays it as 480 * 8 = 3.8ghz...

Bump!

My CPU has reached to around 65'c under heavy load with Orthos and TAT. Is this ok? My HSF is the Artic Cooler 7. With the stock thermal paste, as I can't seem to find my AS5. Also the Voltage is at 1.375v.

Does this seem fine? Or is there something wrong?

All help will be appreciated. Thanks.

yeah, that temp is fine, mine is 65c, if you buy a better cooler then you could push it a bit further.

Mine does that too! says im running 3.8 when its only 3ghz, no idea why. What mobo do you have?

The lowered multiplier confuses them and it happens with all boards.

My x6800 at 3.4GHz hits mid to high 60s during Orthos (small FFT). Also using a lapped AC7Pro, with Artic Silver. vCore at 1.375v, ddr at 2.0v, MCH at 1.55v. Seems fine to me.
