Pooooooooosp!

Today I finally bought me one of these! and WOW at the screen and graphics! I wasnt fully sure what I was hoping for / expecting but when I got home and loaded up FIFA 08 I wasn't disappointed!

I got as well Crazy Taxi & Virtual Tennis to get me started, and will hopefully have by the end of the week the GTA series!

I never had a go on the previous 'phate' psp but this slim one is way cool!

NOTHING to it, with regards to weight?

Now gonna take it off charge and delve into the settings and see what else is to do!

Just thought I'd share my excitement! :p

do you own a ps3? if so the remote play features are pretty cool using the ps3s better webbrowser and taking advantage of the 40/60gb hdd. Also im currently playing Pixel Junk Monsters via remote play while my hdtv gets replaced.

Now you need a PS3 to have fun with it ;).
They are pretty good, but Sony haven't delivered games of quality enough to justify the price for me.

Very good alongside a PS3 though.

I like mine, I really like PES6 on it but the anaolgue stick is in a weird position and I can't control it every well :( Bit annoying as it would be superb if it was better postioned.

Yeah, it's the analogue stick that stops me playing on it more too. It actually hurts my hand :(.
(And yes, I know it sounds familiar with what I say about the PS3 pads too :p).

Daxter is a good game worth getting though and the new God of War game looks ace.

They just added Skype support too for the slim PSP, I'm considering upgrading. I have a Japanese one that I bought in about May 2005.

I agree, the analogue stick is in a very weird place to be used often as it is, but oh well!

Yes, it was also bought as a sidekick to the PS3, but that (PS3) and Tosh TV are yet to be bought.

Media (movies etc) is easy for me too, because I bought Elgato Turbo H.264 on my iMac to convert my DVD's etc.

Possibly worth ditching this 2GB soon for a 4GB maybe?

Anyway, it was a £149.99 for the Mem Stick, Console, Fifa 08 & Protector Case / Screen cover. There other games were 2 for £30.

I'd buy an 8GB stick, they are coming down in price every day, it's not hard to get a 4GB one for £20 now.

Its a very nice piece of kit TBH, got mine for Christmas and i love it. Some fun games out, recently rented Pursuit Force Extreme Justice (new one) its great fun cheesy storylines and cut scenes but good action gaming. There's quite a lot of game modes including what seems to have a pretty good online mode so ive heard not tried it myself though. Some great games coming out in the next month or 2 for the PSP, Patapon, God of war and one my most anticipated games of 2008 Final Fantasy 7 Crisis core.

I was gonna get one, decided on Guitar Hero 3 instead :p

obviously when crisis core comes out, if its as good as it looks might get one.

I've had one since they came out and it's been gathering dust along with my DS for about a year now.

Hope you enjoy yours tho mate, the white one looks well smart.

I bought one a while back when they first came out, i thought it was an excellent console, i then loaded custom firmware on to it and a few weeks later my screen starting ghosting and the blacks were trailing everywhere.

im guessing it was because of a factory problem and the screens i think were made by sharp instead of samsung. put me off it swiftly. however some of the slow paced games like Jeanne D'arc and FF are still pretty good as i get no problems at all.

if you are into RPG games then i would recommend getting Jeanne D'arc, superb game.

Screen protector is a must ! search on ebay for Hori screen protector, as they are about the best. you'll thank yourself if you ever decide to sell it.
