Hey guys,

I'm going to spa in August which will be my first F1, and was hoping to get some advice on what you should take to an F1. Things like, do you get radios for commentary? Any bits that I wouldn't necessarily think of besides, tent, booze and raincoat?! :)

Thanks guys, some great tips here especially on the fanvisions - will definitely book one. Bit confused about the brick hammer though!

Ha! Good point.

What is there to do outside of watching the racing? Being there all weekend, does it get boring at all? I mean, it's not like a festival is it? Well regardless, I've weekend gold tiks for the chicane stand so can't wait! Just hope the weather is nice...

Well I had a bloody awesome time! Got a tad wet but thanks to grandstand seats (bus stop chicane) managed to stay dry for the most part on saturday. Loved the noise and the smell!! Button didn't disappoint and gave us plenty of ammo to throw at the Ferrari supporters. It's was great running up the finish straight after the race to watch the trophy presentations. I got a few decent shots which I'll upload tonight.

Got to see some good action in the GP2 races as well, 3 cars abreast up Eau Rouge!! Those guys have giant ones!
