I'm a little bit happy with myself.
Spotted a stupid cheap Mac mini on eBay, not the best listing and it was collection only so was worth a punt for £50 as I've been wanting a Mac for ages but just won't spend the £££ on one.
It was a late 2009 with 8GB RAM already in and came with install discs (Snow Leopard), iLife 11, a proper Apple full width keyboard and a 20" cinema display.
Got it home, thrown in a spare SSD I had lying around, re-installed it and upgraded to El-Capitan (latest this goes I think although it is offering High Sierra) and it's absolutely fantastic! Can't believe how nippy it is for 9 year old hardware. I've had Linux exposure before but I'm really enjoying this.
Goes to show you can sometimes get a bargain on eBay!
