My first OC

This is my first attempt at an OC, I've managed to get a 4200+ up to 2.7 on stock cooling, without going over 50C under full load on both cores (most of the time) and whilst keeping a 1:1 ratio with my PC3200 RAM :D

I'm running at 34C idle and the max I've had was 52C after an hour of Prime95.

Can anyone recommend a good water cooling kit/parts with SLI gpu coolers so I can push it even harder?

Hi!

Welcome to the forums :)

That's a decent overclock there on just over stock volts too!

I knew that Corsair ram was good but runing 200MHz ram 1:1 at 250MHz (PC4000) is rather impressive too!

Just to test it further I'd be tempted to try S&M and OCCT (1 hour of Prime isn't a huge test of stability) but if you're happy and if it's stable enough then best not tempt fate, eh? :D

50 degrees is pretty cool for such an overclock too - the AMD stock coolers aren't at all bad either

I'm afraid I'm not very knowledgable about water cooling but someone will advise you on that and you can continue to push it even higher!

I've had it running 2 lots of Prime95 overnight (7 hours) without a problem, so it's stable enough for me now!

Now it's just time to see how much a 25% OC has changed my benchmarks!
