My first overclock..need help

i never actually thought of that but if i can run the 2x512 kit at a faster speed than i wont keep the kingston...if not ill keep both..

You'll see a bigger improvement with 2gb than you will with fast 1gb.

i guess ill do it that way then..my ram at the moment is in the 3 slot..id be ok with sticking the other two in the 2 and 4 slot right?

You might find running more than 2 sticks of RAM might limit your overclock, as it puts more strain on the memory controller but this isn't always the case. A nice 2x 1GB matched kit would be the best option to give a nice all round speed boost.
