My First Overclock Project

Hello everyone, I am a new member to overclockers uk and I am looking for some help/advice/tips for overclocking my newly built pc.

I dont have any experience with overclocking and I am still reading up and finding out lots of information to make this process as safe as I possibly can

Currently searching for a new Gfx card aswell as a cpu cooler - Was hoping i could get some recommendations from you guys

Here are my current system specs -

Cpu - Intel core i5 2500k
Mobo - Asus P8P67 Pro
Ram - 8gb Corsair Vegence
Gfx - Nvidia Geforce GT 240
Psu - Coolermaster GX550 550W
Case - Xigmatex Miguard

Any advice or tips will be greatly appreciated!

Hello and thanks for the fast replies guys

Yes i do plan to overclock my system but im worried in case my PSU wont be able to handle it. Im planning on getting a Gigabyte HD 6850 and hopefully a Corsair Hydro H100 if my case will allow for it (if not il get one of the smaller models).

Yes im a Gamer, well i try to anyways lol
Using a 24" monitor running at 1920x1080
