Ok, well after trawling these forums and yearning for an upgrade of any sorts, i decided to ditch my xp 4200 and grab an ip35 + e2180 combo, and of course, clock it 
, kept my old graphics card from when I first got it april 2006 
So here is my system specs:
CPU - E2180 @ 3000mhz (300x10)
Mem - 2gb Geil ULL (1:1 cpu:dram)
Mainboard - IP35
Graphics card - Nvidia 7950GX2 running @ core 570 mem 750 (old now)
as the below ss say
3dmark05 - 14023
3dmark06 - 9209
as you can see from screenies max cpu temp is about 54 underload and max gpu is a massive 76
any good for my first time overclock?
