Well, thanks to a few of you on this board last week i managed to buy a nice rig and this week managed to build it (barring a faulty DVD).

Managed to overclock it last night. Heres what im at :
E8500 @ 3.856Ghz
8Gb OCZ Gold (4x2Gb) @ 410Mhz
on an Asus P5E.
I will post some pics hopefully later of all the speed apps (Realtemp etc..) for somebody to tell me i can squeeze a bit more or maybe not !
I left most of the 0702 Bios settings to Auto so am still unsure what i can tweek or can't.
Reckon i can get a bit more out of it?
Max temps on my E8500 were 64c under Prime95 overnight (about 7 hours) running small fft. Not sure if thats too hot or not..
