My current PC is starting to play up and I thought it was about time I had a new one.
I built it about 3 years ago so I`m a bit out of touch.
I initially thought about going with this:-

Then I decided to spend a bit more and after looking at other peoples builds decided to upgrade slightly (well, a lot I suppose) and go with this:-

I don`t need a case, I already have an Antec 1200 with an Epsilon 600W power supply which is about 2 months old. I am also happy with my Samsung 22" monitor.
I will be doing some photo and video editing and might get back into gaming.
I am not really all that bothered about overclocking but with all the good friendly advice here I suppose it would be rude not to give it a go.
There is no strict budget but I don`t want to go too mad. I will be installing Windows 7 64 bit, It`s downloaded and ready to go.
Any thoughts/advice/other recommendations/things to replace would be sincerely appreciated.

Looks very nice.

If I were you, upgrade the board to the P6T so you can do SLI. All else looks great (may want splash out on an sad though)

epsilon PSU:(

sorry if this sounds mean but i would rather spend a little more on a new PSU:D

something realiable and awesome like a corsair TX 650W:D

You definatly dont even want to THINK about running that i7 setup on that 600w PSU.
The mere thought of it would cause the thing to no doubt burst into flames and suck you into hell
Definatly spend a bit extra and get a good brand PSU, either a Corsair or a BeQuiet would be my vote.

I`ve already chosen the P6T, do you mean the P6T Deluxe. Pardon my ignorance/stupidity but what`s an sad.

I hear where you`re coming from about the PSU so what about an Arctic Power 700W, this one is in my current setup, not sure about the model but it`s not modular. I can just switch the Epsilon for that

that system would just about use 450w under full load when overclocked to be honest

id replace the PSU as it would give you peace of mind and the ability to sli/crossfire in future. i recently got a corsair tx750 and its rock solid.

Ok thanks guys, I`ve revised my order:-

No point coming here for advice and not following it. I`ve gone for a slightly more powerful PSU because I will probably add at least one more HDD for data storage and maybe an additional DVD-ROM and the 850W is only £4 more than the 750W at the moment.

Thanks Wes. It is a bit cheaper with those bits but I`ll stick with what I`ve got. I had forgotten about paste though, thanks for reminding me about that.

Thanks everyone. I changed the RAM to Patriot and it`s all ordered. I`ll probably be back for advice on putting it together or if all goes well, how to overclock and what I think of it all

Stuff arrived yesterday and everything is now running great with Windows 7 installed. Took a while to work out how to install the megahelms cooler and a few other bits were a bit confusing. Couldn`t believe how easy Windows 7 went on, less than half the time it takes Vista or XP. Just got a few questions about drivers but I`ll nip over to the software forum for some answers. Thanks for all the help guys really appreciated.

Forgot to say, I just left all the settings on the mobo to Auto for now. I`m a bit of a numpty when it comes to BIOS settings, always was and probably always will be. Aside from overclocking, which I might get around to later, is there anything I can do in the BIOS to make things a bit better. The only thing I altered is the boot sequence everything else is all a bit too complicated for me.
