This is only a cheap project to start with so thought id still share it with you to compare when i do the new one
Must point out that i had a very low budget (apprentice wage) and wanted to make a step towards newer set up and reason for some these cheap parts is because i can reuse the likes of ram, graphics card, hdds when i can afford a z77 board and i5 processor, new psu
parts are...
AS Rock G41M-GS3 motherboard brand new just under £40
core 2 quad Q8400 - still fetching £60 second hand can go towards new build
Kingston hyper x blu's 2 x 2gb 1333mhz new £18
seagate pipeline hd2 500 sata hdd
500 watt maplins psu ( bad move as i know but needs must at the time)
Parts to come when payed
Graphics card
psu
intake /exhaust fans
These to be reused in new build
i kinda chucked this all together at first without tidying wires up just to make sure it all worked hence the first picture below
Now in processor of stripping and re installing the lot pics will come soon...
The case will definatly be reused as i wanted to put a bit of a twist on an older gaming case and make it a one off
This will be resprayed in lime green , flushing the front panel and hopefully get hold of touch screen on/off button
