My First Race

I'll ber doing my first race on the 11th April at Clay Pigeon Kart Circuit in Dorset

If any of you are down this way then pop in and have a watch, all the races are action packed and its only about £3 to get in

I will be racing in Rotax Max Senior, first heat is about 10am I think

Envy! I would love a shot at something like this. I haven't the transport or storage before I even get into the costs and kit. I would very much like to introduce my own child into it if I ever have any. I don't want to be Anthony Hamilton mind you.

This initial outlay is the biggest hit, between £1000 and £2000 will get you everything you need dependant on what class you choose

If you are just in it to have fun then racing really is not that expensive, its about £40 per race, I buy tyres off people that throw them away after one meeting at about 30 quid a set rather than paying £100+ for a new set!

Other than that its a few spares here and there and fuel which isn't much

It is great fun and really exciting racing, you can still have fun just driving on practice days
