It may well surprise some posters on here but this is my very first thread devoted to racism although I do contribute to all the others.

Yesterday I went to a birthday party and from about 5pm we're all outside and we get onto politics. Obviously immigration/muslims becomes the main topic and 4 of the blokes admit to voting BNP.
This disgusts 3 women who have a go at them for their beliefs and they admit to voting Labour.
At around 7pm a workmate of the birthday girl turned up. He was a Pakistani who was born here and of course everybody went quiet.
He quickly mixed in and within minutes the blokes had got the measure of him - he was one of us.
He loved his beer, football, women and even though he was bought up a Muslim he hated religion and what it had done to the world.
One hour later I had to leave for a gig but returned at 1am to chaos.

These 3 Labour voting women had given this poor Pakistani bloke a right racist grilling about all his mates coming here, taking our English jobs and bombing us etc.
The 4 BNP blokes were busy defending him and at around 1:15 he'd had enough of the 3 racist Labour women and I took him home.
Unbelievable.

just becuase you voted for bnp dosent make you racist yes they have some silly views but they also have some strong valid points.

EXACTLY.
A lot of BNP supporters are now making the distinction between old immigrants and new immigrants.
People like Ifty (sp!) were born here, schooled here, worked here and spent there money here where Stefan from Poland works here and takes all his money back.
I work with loads of Labour voters and some Tory voters and none of them seem to be able to make this distinction and group all immigrants into the same pot.

Perhaps its a Stoke On Trent thing but my experience is that the most racist people are the Labour & Tory voters.

Many of the members have links to neo-nazi groups and the KKK, I don't see why that is such a strange connection. They have similar views as well.

I know many Labour & Tory voters who have worse views than the Nazi's and KKK.

No offence but that all seems very cliched.
If i didnt know better (maybe i dont lol) i would say you just made all that up :)

Yeah Ok, you're right.

You're right, it is very unbelievable. Your branch of the BNP must be unique if its membership supports multiracialism.

1) - Hindus and Sihks can often be seen at the meetings although they can't be members.

2) - Just because somebody votes BNP it does not mean that they follow every policy and doctrine to the letter. I'm pretty sure that Labour voters didn't follow Bliars words to the hilt. For some reason there is this myth that if you vote BNP you must believe in everything Griffin has spouted and I'm afraid BNP voters are mainly voting for one thing and we all know what that is.

3) - Believe it or not a person who votes BNP is a normal person and they can make their own minds up about individuals. On Oct 17th I will be going to the Stoke Beer Festival with two pakistani workmates who drink beer, watch porn and don't pray. If Griffin says I can't do that then he can get stuffed also.

Yes but does he strike you as a supporter of the BNP, beyond the fact that he is a member? I think he even said he wouldn't vote for them!

I've never voted for anybody because they are all lying cheating scumbags however if I HAD to choose I would vote BNP but I would still choose my friends no matter what colour they are.
The only time I've voted was to get our Gay mayor out of the council but that wasn't because he was a bender but because he was bloody useless.

And since when were the core tenets and beliefs of the BNP the rule where I can't choose my mates?
I have been in Griffins company 5 times and the only people he puts down are the Muslim extremists.
I have heard him say 5 times that there are many Muslims who live decent law abiding lives etc and this is part of the full speech that the BBC decided to edit out and eventually got his innocent verdict.

The BNP are opposed to mass immigration, multiculturalism and multiracialism. Those are three of the core tenets. You do not seem to share them, therefore you are a strange person to be a BNP member.

I'm opposed to mass immigration but not to a person who was born here like the bloke in the OP.

I'm not a great lover of multiculturism and would rather do without it.

looking at WIKI's description of multiracialism I'm not a great lover of that either.

However, none of those beliefs should make me dislike somebody just because of the colour of their skin.
I do have a distrust of anybody who is black but it doesn't stop me from eventually liking and trusting them.

I assume you don't respect her for her decision to have a child of mixed-race and of course that applies to my parents too because they had me and now I'm married to a white women too! Will it ever end? :D

Blue Mink
Melting Pot

Take a pinch of white man
Wrap him up in black skin
Add a touch of blue blood
And a little bitty bit of red Indian boy
Oh like a Curly Latin kinkies
Oh Lordy, Lordy, mixed with yellow Chinkees, yeah
You know you lump it all together
And you got a recipe for a get along scene
Oh what a beautiful dream
If it could only come true, you know, you know

What we need is a great big melting pot
Big enough enough enough to take
The world and all its got And keep it stirring for a hundred years or more
And turn out coffee coloured people by the score

Rabbis and the friars
Vishnus and the gurus
We got the Beatles or the Sun God
Well it really doesn't matter what religion you choose
And be thankful little Mrs. Graceful
You know that livin' could be tasteful
We should all get together in a lovin machine
I think I'll call up the queen
It' s only fair that she knows, you know, you know

What we need is a great big melting pot
Big enough enough enough to take
The world and all its got And keep it stirring for a hundred years or more
And turn out coffee coloured people by the score

Everybody join in.

There is if you're a BNP member, or you're in the wrong party :) That was my point.

Good grief, whats up with people.
Nick Griffin doesn't like the idea of mixed marriages.
I don't like the idea of mixed marriages.
Billions upon billions of people around the world don't like the idea of mixed marriages.

BANNING MIXED MARRIAGES IS NOT A POLICY OF THE BNP.
YOU WILL NOT BE BEHEADED IF YOU DO IT.
YOU DO NOT HAVE TO DISLIKE THE IDEA OF MIXED MARRIAGES TO BE A BNP MEMBER OR TO VOTE FOR THEM.
IN FACT PHYKELL CAN VOTE FOR THE BNP IF HE WANTS.
