LOL,

Router was easy to setup... and i have the router connected to 2 pc's VIA 100meg network cable.

Logged into admin on the network hub control pannel, it says im connected at 8meg down, 480kb up.

When i do the speedtest on adslguide and zednet i get the roughly the same speeds coming back

3.5meg down, 350kb up.

Why is the true speed different to the (connected displayed speed on the hub control pannel) ? Any tips to speed up the hub or is it basically a rubbish hub? if so i think im in my right to ask BT for a hub that can handle the speed that my line is capable (AND WHAT IM PAYING FOR) to run at!

Also ive been looking on these forums for help to speed the router up and i read things about noise? annutation? SNR?? what are all these? how do i find them on my router control pannel?

Im logged in as admin but cant see nothing of the above?

Thank you for your help

Dean

You've found your "noise? annutation? SNR??" then.

Is the BT Speedtest (instructions in FAQ) just as slow?
It's unlikely its the Home Hub that's slowing you down though.
