Had one this morning and upon checking when it needs renewing it isn't till end of july.

It has come in very handy because I called the wife and asked her to read it and she thought it was real untill I pointed out that does it sound professional.
She then agreed it didn't.

So gave her a lesson on things and always check things first and never click links on email but go direct to who ever it is asking for your card details.

This doesn't sound genuine/is badly written.

SCAM!

Maybe we need to make all links transparent in emails.

None of these fancy buttons. OR even better remove all links completely! So anyone sending an email has to say to go to our website and log in.

That “should” “may” reduce people falling for scams where clickable links are involved.

What I tell people is never click links in emails.

There are plenty of email clients that will do this. E.g. fairmail for android, very configurable, https://github.com/M66B/FairEmail.
