My first step into Crossfire

Having sited a brand new Sapphire 5850 for £138 (not a bad price considering I bought my first for £207 two years ago) I decided to enter the world of crossfire for a cheap upgrade. I had to swap the position of my original card to keep good air flow because of the different position of the GPU cooler fans, interestingly with my mild overclock (Any higher I become aware of the extra fan noise which I do not like) temps have dropped 5 degrees compared to single card. Just done my first bench mark in 3D Mark 11; so far so go, not quite sure of the scoring are these results any good?

Looks good to me.
It's better than my similar system. We have exactly the same memory, my Phenom II CPU is at stock 3.6Ghz, where yours is at 3.9; my 2x 5850's are at stock. My score is 5,600.

You get 6,200, about 10% higher than me. The CPu accounts for some of the difference. How much are your GPU's overclocked?

Also, that IS a pretty mild overclock. Nice boost. I should look into OCing my CPU.
