My First Urbex Trip

After following a group of people doing some Urban Exploration with a slight twist, I thought I would give it a try. However where I live there is very limited 'urban areas' as some people might know I am on the Isle of Lewis so most of our abandoned buildings are small black houses or stone age buildings (OK so it's not all that, but you get the idea )

So here goes, it is an old WW2 look out tower/gun embankment on the outskirts of the main town on the Island, very grungy place and pretty cool.

Featuring people in many of my Urbex images lately I've found it gives something different to the usual shot of a corridor or flaking paint and so on. It also gives perspective to vast interiors.
