Just thought I would post a pic of the end result of my first ever water cooling build......its been one hell of a learning curve and at the same time, I didn't realise how much it would actually cost! The amount of time I had to place orders, when I was missing a fitting that I hadn't thought of, or finding out that my 120 EK Res doesn't sit firmly on a Koolance pump top...causing the whole thing to pop off when full of coolant!!
.....but today is the 1st day I've actually booted the machine up after building it and a huge sense of relief when it all booted up!
The specs are - i7 5930k - 16GB Corsair Dominator Platinum Ram - EVGA GTX 980ti Hydrocopper - 512gb Samsung 850 Pro SSD - Corsair RM1000i PSU.
I'm actually waiting for the new Samsung 950 Pro M.2 SSD's for the game drive.
Watercooling wise I'm using a Koolance COV-RP450 Pump Top with D5 Pump, Koolance 120 Res with Multiport Cap, XSPC EK240 Thin Rad for the Front, Alphacool NexXxoS UT60 Full Copper 60mm x 240mm Rad for the Top and more Bitspower Fittings than I care to remember (which cost a fortune!) and then all finished off with Mahems Ice White Coolant.
Anyway I thought I would post it a pic here as I use this forum incessantly to learn and it helped me out massively when putting it together...I still have a few things to finish off, such as sleeved cabling and lighting, but its almost done.
