Hiya

After doing lots of reading on forums and the like - i've decided to jump on the ever growing water cooling bandwagon.

As i said, i've done a lot of reading and have come up with the following build -

D-TEK FuZion v2 CPU Block
Swiftech MCW60 GPU Block
1/2" Barbs (prob the EK ones)
1/2 Hose Clips (i'm paranoid!)
XSPC X2O 400 Pump and Reservoir - Clear
XSPC RS240 120mm Radiator - Black
2 Yate Loons
7/16" Masterkleer Tubing
Feser One Blue
Swiftech MCB-120 Radbox

Cooling the parts in my sig.

Not really doing it to increase overclock or signifcantly decrease temps/noise. More an experiment really. It's something i've always wanted to do.

I was looking at one of the kits but i think i'd get much more satisfaction from doing a custom build.

Do you think its a good spec? Where could it be improved?

EDIT: Forgot to ask: will i need any sealing tape? These are the barbs i was looking at : Link

No you won't need sealing tape with 7/16" tubing on 1/2" barbs.

If you're going to put a graphics card in the loop then you'd be better looking at a 240mm radiator.

Thanks for the help Cob. I've changed it to the 240 version of the same rad.

What do you think of the other parts? I wasn't going for supreme cooling. I wanted good blocks but wasn't to going to go overboard on the pump, res and rad.

The rest looks ok. But have you got space in your case for the XSPC X2O 400 Pump and Reservoir? It's 90mm wide and 70mm high (nit including the barbs).

I've only 1 of the drive cages in at the bottom and one DVD drive at the top so it should be okay. I'll measure up tonight before i buy.

Thanks for the help again. It always good to have some expert help.
