initially when i first added water. it was leaking on one of the connectors to the GPU. it was because i was using the supplied little black rubber o ring that goes around the connector but because the fittings already had one, it leaked because it wasnt on tight. fixed that and removed the o ring, dried out the effective area and added more water and all is well.

yea more or less finished. jut leak testing it now as we speak. i started leak test last night. still ongoing.

when i get home from work i will see if there has been any leaks. fingers crossed there is none and i can switch on the whole pc :)

i guess because its my first time i just wanna make sure there is no leaks. however, as mentioned already, it did leak the moment i put some fluid in it lol but thats fixed and since then. there has not been any leaks so far.

hehe thanks. all upa nd running now. justa quick question. is there a way to adjust the rpm of the pump as i think its running at full wack and is a bit noisy.

Any suggestions? it came with a 3pin connector and a molex. i connected the molex to my psu and the 3 pin to the motherboard and tried to adjust it using speedfan but doesnt do anything.

the pump is a Laing DDC 1 18w one

Its alive!!! it blooming works!!!!

temps:

kombuster running for 20mins:

before WC = 90c max
after WC = 48c max

Intel Burn test for 10mins using all cores, max memory usage:
before WC = 75c
after WC 57c

yea but that 3 pin connector is used to identify the RPM. thats it. doesnt reduce it or anything. next to no power goes to it. the molex powers the whole lot

it's a sense wire, it just reports RPM, it doesn't allow control of it

Yea exactly. its a simple sense wire. anyways my pump is almost dead silent now. all i can hear mostly is my case fans. diddnt do anything. it just seems to be getting quieter and quieter the pump!

need to adjust the fan a bit as it sounds like its grinding againts a loose wire lol :D
