My friends new build (£600)

Hello folks, could any of you be kind enough to spec up the best possible build for £600, for the main purpose of gaming, any of the top end games on the market at the moment really.

He already has 64bit windows
He wants a monitor included as he is keeping his current for dual screens
£600 is the maximum he can spend

Thanks for the reply, the build we are thinking of buying is a 6870 / 965 phenom, how does yours compare with that?

Personally, for that budget I'd forget the 2nd screen for now and use it to buy a better PC

You'd be a lot better off going with the i3 and a 7850. If you forget the second monitor, you could fit in an i5.

Agreed, an i5 and a 7850 is light years ahead of the 6850/965
