All power connections connected including the 8 pin for cpu power and both connections to the gpu if your not using onboard.

Tried with only one memory module and also try a CMOS reset if you have not already done so.

Just had a tinker. Trying now see whats what. But no could not boot into bios.

Drma lde memok there is this button. I am gonna assume i can hold this down to try and sort the memory out ?

Well after looking into everything still no go. We just called them up and were switching the motherboard. Guy on the phone said it sounds like it.

Somthing i found odd though is they said we cant switch to a different brand. As i said try msi which i have.

Oh well i guess.

I had the same problem when I first got the Z68-V Pro installed.
Is the DRAM_LED constantly lit up when you try to boot it ? - (top RH corner of the mobo)

Stress over just found out the issue and i feel a complete moron lol.

My friend has just given up he was off home. Took one look at the ram and it looked like it was not fitted right. Pushed down a little bit more and hey ho it works.

Installing windows 7 now. Sorry guys but yet again thanks for the help.
