my g15 just stopped working...

erm yeah... lights up and all that shiz but no key actions what so ever. this ever happened to anyone else? not really had her that long either..

lets ignore the simple things as i know my hardware, just wondering about faults mainly..

also anyone know if i deal with ocuk or just ligitech direct?
 
you'd have to check with logitech to see what the warranty covers, I think it should have 3 years cover.

I do believe they are responsible though
 
just checked, it's actually just a single year warranty.

I'd go to their website and email them. I wouldn't say it would be any longer than 3-4 weeks
 
When my g15 died I phoned up logitech and they agreed to send me a replacement, it never came and when I phoned up again they said they had no record of the first phone call, great,

So I went on their website and filled in a support form and got a reply the next day asking for my name and address, filled it all in and had a new g15 within 4 days,

My MX revolution died a few weeks ago and I did exactly the same wth this, and this time it took a week but I got my new mouse :)

They only thing they asked was that I cut off the end of the USB cable on my g15 and send it back to them and they also wanted the usb receiver for my mouse, but I only had to send these off once I had received the new items

Try it in a different PC all together? Or use a different keyboard to re-install the Logitech drivers.

Thats bloody good service.

Seems like I will go for that logitech keyboard I've been looking at. Had issues about it being wireless but I think they'll sort me out if anything goes wrong.

Was your replacement sent from within the UK?
 
have you tried it in a different usb socket just incase?

heh... yeah ;) It's not a driver issue also as it doesn't work in bios.. I was thinking I'll give it a few days and see if it just magically starts working again.. be supprised how often that works..

will try it in my backup PC actually.. could take me a while to undo my cable management :D
