Hi Guys

long time reader first time posting, thought i would share with you all my recently completed build

specs are

case - Thermaltake core v51 power cover edition
mobo - MSI Z97A Gaming 7
cpu - intel I5 4690K
ram - 16gb crucial ballistix sport
gpu - 2x MSI GTX970 gaming 100 ME
ssd - 500gb samsung 850 evo pro
hdd - 3tb wd green
OD -LG Bluray RW
PSU- Corsair RM850
cable mod full cable set with combs (colour doesn't match but prefer the flexability of the cablemod cables over the corsair braided cables)

cooling - EK SUPREMACY EVO FOR CPU, 2X EK FC-970 GTX TFX, 1X EK coolstream slim 240mm RAD 1X EK Coolstream slim 360mm rad, EK DDC res pump combo and 11 corsair sp fans (all running @ 600rpm)

i also have a NZXT Hue+ LED lighting and have painted fan rings and mobo heat sinks to match my overall theme

i'm really pleased with the overclock i have acheived on both cpu(4.6ghz with 1.246v) and gpu (+200mhz 1524mhz core +400mhz for memory) and with the cooling parts fitted i get idle temps of 20-25 degrees on cpu and gpu and under full load with over clocks i am seeing 50-60 degrees on cpu and 40-50 degrees on gpu

let me know what you all think and any tips or improvements

also apologies for poor picture quality and lack of as i didn't take too many whilst i was building

1 of the gpu blocks

the connecting terminal i will be using

both cards with blocks fitted with terminal and sli bridge

some progress of the PETG tube runs

all completed and running after a leak test

Thanks theMilitant, this is my first system that I have built and continued to improve it over the last year I have owned and is my first full custom loop I have done, I did a lot of research to make sure that all the components were compatible and that the rads I chose would give me adequate cooling. i started off with a corsair h80i AIO but liked the looks of a full custom loop so decided to go ahead and do it

That's exceptional work for a first build then, and quite brave of you to go for a full custom loop as a new builder. Welcome to the forums btw. Didn't realise your opening post was also your first on OcUK. From the looks of your build you're going to fit right in ;)

Very nice :). Especially nice work on the pipe bends. If that is first time bending then well done indeed.

Love the green aswell. Especially all lit up light that, case, desk. Very clean looking inside and outside the case!

Well done.

Thanks chaps im really happy with how it all turned out, the bottom bend from the pump to gpu block was a bit of a pain to get right with a few attempts, but everything else was fairly straight forward with the right tools and planning :-)
