Just seen this photo & video forum here so i thought i'd say hi.

I have a Nikon D90 and only one lens so far which is the AF-S DX VR Nikkor 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G IF-ED and the Speedlight SB600

I got the MDB80 Battery Grip at the same time i bought the D90 and got 50 quid off.

The camera is nice and is my first DSLR but need to use it more not having touched it since the holiday in August as i can never find enough spare time to go out and use it which is a shame really.

I would like to do some sports photography but a suitable lens is far more than i can afford at the moment.

Take your camera to work with you, use it during your lunch break? Of course outwith work hours things like family and other engagements may take priority over photography but it doesn't mean you cant get them involved as well.

One of the guys I know uses the D90 with i think that lens as well for doing football stuff. what sports is it you're looking to get into? you may be able to use that lens and just crop the photo down to make it look as if you were closer in of course ;)

I have got all my photos on my other hard drive so i will get a few samples together and post them on my Photobucket page as according to the posting rules at the bottom of here i maynot post attachments.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

I thought I would really struggle to find time to take photographs when I bought my camera.
You should consider trying a Project 365 or similar where you take one photo a day. It's got me taking loads of pictures I would normally miss. Really worth a go.

Prioritise and make time. I take a picture atleast once a day. The time consuming part for me is getting them onto the pc and then online, because i keep forgetting to buy a card reader. Hence my 365day flickr being empty, even though i have pics from every day since the 1st of Jan!

Not really a good idea for me to take the camera to work as i work in a busy garage and oil and alike won't do the camera any good me thinks, beside which i will not have the time anyway.
I have had ample opprtunities to take photos in my free time but lack motivation to be honest.
