my geforce 470.

i think there is something worng with one of my geforce 470,s when i power my system up in the morning i can here a wee grinding noise which i think is coming form my top 470. now yesterday i made a thread then i thought it was one of my sharkoon fans but after dissconnecting that last night to see if it was the problem turned the pc on this morning with the sharkoon discconected and now it sounds like its coming from the top 470 card im lost and the only way to make the grinding noise go away is to tun off the pc and turn it back on again...

any help will be great...

tonite i might try one of 280 gtxs in to rule out te 470..

COME ON GUYS HAS ANYONE had a grinding noise coming form a 470 or 460 or 580 this happend after it throttled when i was playin crysis and the card hit 100 degress...

If you think its the top card then take it out and see if the noise still occurs. There is no point in trying to solve a problem that may not be there.
