As far as I'm aware, a ****load of other people have had this issue too, so I'm not looking for advice - just a place to whine like the bitch I am.

**** you, 9600GT. **** your useless unreliable uptime and **** your casual momentary downtime. **** IT

Pity me.

It certainly does - quality rant :D

Introducing the new Goddamn 9600GT! With 64 CUDA Goddamn-grade cores running at blistering 650mhz, and GDDR3 Goddamn-grade memory at 900mhz, it garantees you a 99% problem rate! You can't help but say, "Goddamn 9600GT! *insert rant here*"!

On a more serious note, what's wrong with the 9600GT? A few of my friends who own the card have had no problems with it so far

My old 9600GT ran games pretty much 1000% better than my ATi 4850 under Linux. And it was a whole heap quieter in both Linux and Windows.

I wouldn't go back to it now of course. Unless I never had to touch Windows again and could run Linux 24/7, in which case I would go right back to it in a heartbeat....

stop ranting over it

rip the thing out get the wallet out and get a nice shiny new GTX460 or HD5830 up to you....

whats the problem with it anyway?
