My Hard drive is now not detected after adding a second NVMe M.2

So I had one Samsung NVMe M.2 and one western digital hard drive everything worked okay I just added a second Samsung NVMe M.2 and now my hard drive has disappeared? Would really appreciate any help thank you

Does adding the second M.2 disable some/all of the SATA ports? The manual will tell you.

If you post the make/model of the motherboard you've got a better chance of a more complete answer.

I expect one or two sata ports got disabled.

Many board vendors due to over provisioning to gpu slot and under provisioning to chipset play rob pete to pay paul on their pcie lanes.

Page 16 of the manual tells you that SATA ports 5 & 6 are disabled with both M.2 slots populated with NVMe drives. Check you aren't trying to use one of those ports for the SATA drive.

SATA drive in M2A slot disables SATA 1 port.
And any drive in M2B slot disables both SATA 4 and 5 ports.

Move the drive to another sata port.
