I'm trying to do some simple physics revision, and I just can't get my head round it for some reason.

does anyone else have days where thier head just won't work?

yep.
try taking a break and going for a walk or something. then come back to it. Just try doing little 30 minute chunks if your having trouble.

You sound like an old teacher of mine, when I used to come up with the excuse of "I cant concentrate at home"

yeah I'm going to grab a coffee, and chill for 5 mins and go back to it.

I really hate it when one minute your fine working away and then just stall.

I feel the same as you. I'm stuck in uni revising my ass off for a Biochemistry exam.

Fun fun fun. Gotta know so much stuff.

All sugar structures, all amino acid structures, codons (start stop etc), Introns and extrons, Heme molecules (affinity of oxygen, and CO), Myoglobin and Haemoglobin, Competetive Inhibition (Km and Vmax), Sickle Cell Anemia, pK values (really struggling with this), Michaelis Constant, Phototrophs and Chemotrophs, Glycolytic Pathway, Deoxynucleotide sequences, Tm of DNA, Sanger-Nicklen-Coulson???, dideoxynucleoside triphosphates...

Need to know that, plus a lot more in depth for Wednesday. HELP!

Seriously, if there's anyone on the forums who would be able to help with a couple of the topics above, especially pK values and Km/Vmax with enzymes - that would be great.

I can't get into starting work today because I've got a mid-morning lecture and mid-afternoon lecture. What considerate timetabling for Masters students... The next stage on my project is going to take me a while once I get into it, so I'm not even going to attempt it until after tea.
